Beveled prism PDX Raindrop Stained Glass Sun Catcher

Handmade by Tamara Goldsmith, These stained glass “rain-drops” are one-of-a-kind, not cut from mass-produced templates. Each piece is uniquely designed, hand-cut, copper-foiled, and assembled in her Portland, Oregon studio.

All have bevels (some glue-chip, some clear glass) which create rainbows when hung in direct sunlight. They hang from a light gunmetal chain about 8" in length.

Each drop is about 5 inches long and about 3.5 inches wide.

Images show the piece with both back and front lighting, and a variety of color options. Let me know if you have a specific custom color in mind!

60/40 lead/tin solder was used and the border is lead came.

Lead is not dangerous to have in your home in an art-piece like this unless sanded, causing lead-dust to be airborne and inhaled or somehow ingested. However, it is always a good idea to wash your hands well after cleaning or handling the piece.
