This beautiful copper-foiled stained glass panel was made to fit in a wood frame with LED lighting inside. Light diffuses beautifully and illuminates the church-inspired architecture, inhabited by a sweet little kitty, hand-painted with permanent glass paint. The design is by Tamara Goldsmith and handmade in her Portland, OR, studio. This piece was made with many different types of transparent, brilliantly colorful stained glass, and the solder is finished with a black polished patina.
The dark cat silhouette pops against the explosion of warm colors, which illuminate and transform a dark room. It can either hang on the wall or rest on a surface.
The cord length is 6 ft long, white, and has an on/off switch.
 
60/40 lead/tin solder was used, thus, special care is suggested when cleaning/handling suncatchers containing lead. Lead is only dangerous when inhaling lead dust or ingesting significant quantities over time. There is no health threat to owning a stained glass window containing lead.
All pieces are carefully wrapped to prevent breakage during domestic shipping.
