"Solidarity Fist" Stained Glass Suncatcher
 
This beautiful solidarity inspired copper-foiled stained glass suncatcher was handmade by Tamara Goldsmith in her Portland, OR studio. This piece was made with a variety of types and colors of stained glass, utilizing opaques, cathedrals, textures for a mix of skin colors. The fingernails are in color and hand details have been hand-painted with a permanent glass paint.
 
The piece measures about 4” wide and 5" tall. With the chain, the piece is about 9" from the top of the chain to the bottom of the piece.
 
60/40 lead/tin solder was used, thus special care is suggested when cleaning/handling suncatchers containing lead. Lead is only dangerous when inhaling lead dust or ingesting significant quantities over time. There is no health threat to owning a stained glass window containing lead.
 
All pieces are carefully wrapped to prevent breakage during domestic shipping.
