Lavender + Orange Betta Fused Glass Suncatcher
 
This Lavender + Orange Betta fused glass creature was handmade by me, Tamara Goldsmith in my Portland, OR studio. This piece was made with fused stained glass, designed and created to be a sweet little suncatcher.
A permanent glass paint was used for the eye. The rest of the piece was made with a few different types of glass in free-form shapes to convey the kinetic flow underwater. The fish body was made in an iridescent dichroic glass which changes color when tilted in direct light.
It hangs from a heavy transparent fishing-wire about 4 inches from the top and the piece itself is about 6”wide and 5" tall.
 
All pieces are carefully wrapped to prevent breakage during domestic shipping.
