Pumpkin Stained Glass, assorted colors

This beautiful copper-foiled stained glass sun-catcher was handmade by Tamara Goldsmith in her Portland, OR studio for Redux Collective.

This simple pumpkin was made in the fall to add to the Harvest-time themes of Thanksgiving and Halloween.

Glass used range from brown, wispy marbled whites, purples and of course, oranges. The stems are tan and brown.

The solder lines on this piece have been given a black patina, and are waxed for a protective, shiny surface.

Hangs from one point near the top and sides with a heavy black chain.

Measures about 6" wide, 5" tall and hangs 8" from the top of the chain to the bottom.

60/40 lead/tin solder was used and the border is lead came.

Lead is not dangerous to have in your home in an art-piece like this unless sanded, causing lead-dust to be airborne and inhaled or somehow ingested. However, it is always a good idea to wash your hands well after cleaning or handling the piece.
