This beautiful copper-foiled stained glass piece was handmade by Tamara Goldsmith in her Portland, OR studio.
This piece was made with a variety of types and colors of stained glass, blues for the ox (or cow) and a rainbow of colors for the flowers. A textured fibrous amber vintage bullseye glass was used for the background.
 
This piece was handpainted with details utilizing a permanent fired glass paint.
 
The piece measures about 14” wide and 14" tall. With the chain, it's about 25 inches from the top of the chain to the bottom of the piece.
 
60/40 lead/tin solder was used, thus special care is suggested when cleaning/handling suncatchers containing lead. Lead is only dangerous when inhaling lead dust or ingesting significant quantities over time. There is no health threat to owning a stained glass window containing lead.
All pieces are carefully wrapped to prevent breakage during domestic shipping.
